Tom Haak is the founder and first Director of the HR Trend Institute. Tom has extensive experience in HR Management in multinational companies. From 2006-2014 he was the global HR Director for Arcadis, the leading global natural and built asset design and consultancy firm, with 22,000 employees worldwide. Prior to Arcadis he worked in senior HR positions at Aon, KPMG and Philips Electronics.
Tom has a keen interest in innovative HR and how organizations can benefit from trend shifts.
Frank Roebroek is an HR professional with extensive experience in HR. He worked for Philips in several industries from consumer to healthcare, across multiple continents. In the USA he was Head of HR for North America leading and transforming the HR organization and supporting the business integrations for 30.000 employees. In Mergers and Acquisitions he was part of many major deals and integrations as deal lead. From 2011 till 2015 Frank led the design, set up and establishment of the Global HR Operations organization for Philips. His major fields of interest are HR Innovation and transformation to the next professional level by ad-interim management, consulting and team- or individual coaching.

Roos Hijner is a rising star in HR. She holds a master’s degree in Occupational Health Psychology. Her thesis “Leadership and Burn Out” continuously proves to be an interesting read - and won’t be the last. She has worked for several years in different industries (e.g. recruitment & selection, advisory and learning & development) to build her experience in the field. With an everlasting energy she will find and implement new ways to bring out the best in people, (re)connect teams and support leadership in taking the right direction.
Roos is currently teaching and inspiring young HR professionals at the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht in The Netherlands (HU).
Roberto Leão was born in Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal. Studied Sociology and founded the fisrt portuguese enterpreneruship club at his Alma Mater – University of Porto. Worked as HR leader at three multinacionals: Sonae (Retail), EDP (Energy), BRF (Food) and as Head of people and Management at the brazilian company Multilaser (Technology). Living in São Paulo since 2012, Roberto also published a poetry book and recorded popular music albums with his idols. He does public speaking in business schools and business events for 14 years on topics as Management, Leadership and Innovation. He collaborates with the HR Trend institute as South America Director since March 2020.
